Albert Street

This urban infill project in Jericho, Oxford, replaces a former domestic garage with a new family home which presents as a contemporary re-interpretation of the Conservation Area and street scene.

A striking zinc roof with hidden gutter is perched above a buff brick façade, punctured with aluminium framed windows and recessed timber panels. The design proportions have been adopted from the adjoining house which creates a striking juxtaposition between the two properties. Planning consent was granted in 2019, and the house is currently under construction.
