NCA were commissioned to develop a concept design for the conversion of an existing barn building for a local vineyard and wine producer, to provide an on-site bar and restaurant. The design rationale sought to retain the inherent character of the existing building, recladding the interior and introducing slim-line glazing to existing openings. A new canopy was introduced to provide solar shading of the interior bar area as well as covered seating in a new courtyard area.
